This staged production was performed by professional artists and members of both the adult Ensemble and Youth Training Ensemble at Elgin Community College's Visual and Performing Arts Center on April 4 & 5, 2003. - A Funny Thing Happened
The second staged production of O.P.E.R.A., the past name of Elgin OPERA, on November 14 & 15, 2002 at Elgin Community College at the Visual and Performing Arts Center. Based on A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum, the spoof includes opera-themed humor, fusing opera with Broadway hits.
